ANXIETY
Do you respond to certain situations with fear or dread? Do you experience physical symptoms like your heart pounding or sweating? You may even avoid places or situations to prevent these feelings. Do you have a feeling something bad is about to happen? If you can relate, you may be experiencing anxiety. We can work together to identify negative thinking patterns that may be fueling the anxiety, identify healthy coping skills to alleviate symptoms, and learn to confidently face anxiety head-on.
DEPRESSION
Do you feel sad, empty or hopeless? Or like you are constantly on the verge of tears? Have you lost interest in things you used to enjoy (i.e. hobbies or sports)? Have you had a change in weight or sleeping patterns? Do you tend to focus on past failures and self-blame? If you can relate, you may be experiencing depression. Through therapy, we can work together to increase your resilience and self-esteem, identify positive coping skills and supports, and focus on the importance of self-care.
TRAUMA
When we think of trauma, we tend to think of people who survive natural disasters, war, or even rape. All of these are traumatic experiences, but you may have experienced trauma too. Trauma is a response our nervous systems have when we encounter a distressing experience and are unable to cope. Because trauma is a response, there is no event too big or too small to be classified as trauma. What causes someone to experience trauma may not cause another person to.
Trauma can cause us to have intrusive thoughts or memories, feel like we are always looking over our shoulder, or feel on edge. If you have experienced trauma, we can work together to reduce the distress you have associated with these memories, identify negative core beliefs you have because of these events, and strengthen positive beliefs about yourself.
We accept multiple insurance providers including BCBS and Tricare. Resilience offers a private pay option for clients without insurance. A limited number of spots at a reduced rate based on financial needs are available as well.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
●You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
●Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
●Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
